The FIRST Giveaway

July 9, 2012

I’ve always been told that I’m a “giver”. I tell myself that daily. Nobody else does, but it’s cool. This blog turns one at the end of this month. ONE! Can you believe it? I can’t believe that I’ve kept up with it so regularly. It’s probably because this blog is NOT a diet. Whenever I start a diet, I end up baking rolls a few hours into it. It’s kind of sad.

ANYWAY! I’ve been wanting to do a giveaway for a while, but I didn’t have a good reason for one. That all changes today. One name: Shabby Apple. These guys always come to my rescue when I need a party outfit for a night out on the buffet town. The folks over at Shabby Apple are awesome and kind and generous and they are pitching in a $50 ($50!!!) gift card to one of you lucky lucky people. Surely you’ve heard of Shabby Apple? They design some pretty fab stuff like this gorgeous maxi. Or maybe you need some new workout clothes. I live in these. (I don’t actually work out. I just fool people into thinking I do.) They have crazy-cool accessories and so much more to choose from.

The deets:

1. “Like” Shabby Apple on Facebook. (Required for your entry to be eligible.)

2. Visit Shabby Apple and start browsin’.

3.Come back here and leave a comment tellin’ me what you’re gonna buy. Make me jealous.

This cool party will close Friday night (13th!) at midnight MST.

Start shoppin’!

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

I’ll announce the winner on Monday so make sure you check back to see if you’re the lucky duck. Oh and hey! I don’t want to leave anyone out. Here’s a little promo code for 10% off for the rest of the month! Just enter: THEPROPERPINWHEEL10OFF at checkout. Easy as pie. Pumpkin pie.

**note: This is the first giveaway on The Proper Pinwheel. There’s a trial & error with these things so let’s learn together! Hoping this will be the first of many. :) **

Well Right off the bat the Canary dress jumped out at me but sadly I don’t have a little girl. After that the Tess and Cecily jumped right off the page! I just don’t know if I would be brave enough to wear the Cecily with it’s bold pattern.

They are well “liked” on facebook. And hands down the gift card would go toward a dress, I always feel beautiful when I’m in a dress and their dresses are gorgeous!! Thanks for the give away!

First of all I LOVE SHABBY APPLE. I love them so much I have their website bookmarked!! I’m guessing you already know but the hubby and I recently went through the temple, and I am in need of a new dress I can wear to church, one that is modest enough for me to wear (you know what I mean?). And the problem is that it is so dang hard to just pick one!!! But I will try!!

I usually go for something comfortable and simple so I would have to pick between the Matinee Dress or the Red Queen Dress

Oh my goodness gracious! When I saw this I almost jumped on top of my desk, yes I’m at work, no, I don’t care because its the SHABBY APPLE.
I have been drooling over the Headliner Dress. So cute! And perfect for this hot weather we have been having in CA. Also my sister who just had a baby also loves Shabby Apple and I was thinking about getting her a little something like the bronze organza necklace or the Emma tutu for my new niece! She would die.
    Thank so much!!

Gushing over all things lace, so I would definitely be caught wearing the “Love Me Do”. So feminine and summery! Also, liked on Facebook.

Loving the blog Lexy! And Shabby Apple is great! So feminine and classic. The Alice dress is gorgeous – lace is my best friend these days. I’m also eying the “Dimple” blue pumps (I have a pair of mustard yellow ankle length pants that are begging to be paired with them!). Not to mention every single ring.

Ps – next time there is sorbet involved, I’m there!
