Below is the recipe for the ultimate fudgesicle. I mean that. My grandmother used to make these for us ALL the time when we were kids. We ate them quick because they are that delicious. No time to melt, people!

You are going to want to make these. They’re hearty. They’re also good for the heart. Chocolate is good for the heart, right?

THE ULTIMATE FUDGESICLE

• 1 small package instant chocolate pudding
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup whipped cream (cool whip will do just fine!)
• 2 cups milk

Mix all ingredients together and freeze in popsicle mold or cups with sticks!

Since becoming prego, I have LOVED popsicles. I have about 10 otter pops a day. Usually 3 right before bed. Because I love popsicles, I want you to love them to. So welcome to POPSICLE WEEK! Each day I’ll share things I love about those deliciously frozen treats. Tomorrow, get ready for some fabulous fudge-sicles. Am I right? Am I right?

Today, we’re talkin’ about the fruity and the pretty:

1. Skinny Taste Frozen Fruit Pops - If you’re wanting something with little sugar and lots of fruit, these are your popsicle. They’re delicious. They’re allllllll fruit.

2. Capri Sun Fruit Punch Pops – Holy. Crap. If Capri Sun is in the name, you know it’s good.

3. Fruity Lemonade Pops – These are just pretty. I’m vain and into beautiful things and would love to make a beautiful popsicle.

4. Watermelon Mojito Pops – How pretty are these? They’re totally for adults and/or drunk children. If you want to make them more kid appropriate, skip the rum and use Sprite instead!

5. Very Berry Summer Popsicles – And for the most beautiful popsicles out there, these take the icebox cake. Made with mango puree and some other creamy ingredients, these will definitely satisfy on a hot summer night.

Yesterday, I shared the photos from last weekend’s Mother’s Day event with Anthropologie. If you were there, you already know how to make these fabulously easy fabric flowers. If you weren’t able to make it, fear no more. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to make them. I know it may seem a little tricky, but trust me, these are super easy and you can make a flower in 10 minutes! Probably less if you know how to use hot glue without burning yourself…

SUPPLIES:

• assorted fabric (cut into egg-like shapes in three different sizes)
• floral stem wire
• hot glue gun

Starting with the smallest fabric petal, place a small dollop of hot glue in the bottom left corner. Fold petal in half and press to secure.

Once folded, place another dollop of hot glue at the bottom. Grab the top layer of the petal and fold/bring it down and press to secure.

Like so…

This gives the petals the stiff petal look. Very important when making flowers.

You’ll notice the flat bottom. Glue all of your petals this way. Make sure they are folded and glued correctly!

Working one petal at a time, got glue them onto the stem. Place a small amount of glue in the inside part of the petal at the bottom. Press into the stem and seal shut.

Once glued, the petal will be leaning forward. Push it back and it should look like the petal above.

Rotate the stem a bit, and glue on the second petal.

Rotate again, and add the last petal.

Once all of your smallest petals are on, attach the rest of the petals. Glue them the same way as you did the smallest size. Add the mediums and then add the largest petals!

Bada-bing. Bada-boom. I’m watching FRIENDS as I write this and Chandler said, “bing” right when I typed it! This is obviously an inspired post.

Feel free to add in different textured fabrics like burlap and tulle. They add dimension and look really good in the flower!

To make a brooch, glue all of the petals the same way. Instead of attaching them to the stem, glue all of the bottom flat parts together following the same glue and rotate pattern.

Once all of your petals are glue together, attach some small pins to the back. Pin to your blazer, your purse, you name it.

I’m sharing quite the load of photos from the Anthro event! And this isn’t even all of them! The lovely Jennifer Little of Sugar Photography took these gorgeous pics. I seriously envy her talent. I envy anyone who can work with a camera.

I wanted to have all of the petals pre-cut to save everyone some time. I cut so much fabric! And sweet Logan donated some of his time as well. We’re talking around 1,300 petals in all different fabrics and sizes. Logan is a professional now. Just ask him.

Whenever I am talking about food, I have a hard time describing how truly happy it makes me. We served all sorts of goodies including chocolate muffins, cinnamon swirl bread, CINNAMON BUNS, and fruit (for the healthy folk). There was a selection of beverages including mimosas, coffee, and water bottles wrapped in the best vintage fabric in town.

My darling friend, Maggie, made these super cute and simple name tags. I’m never throwing mine away. I’m a total hoarder.

Here come the ladies!

This is cute Annabelle! You might remember her for her work on our Eat Drink Create-Spring video! Holy talent. You can see more of her work over on her blog or her videography site, Evergreen Lane Productions.

These. Straws. I’m a collector of paper straws and these floral ones by Shop Sweet Lulu are my absolute favorite. I have about 50. Will I use them? One a year over the next 50 years.

I was so happy to meet everyone who came. Everyone is soooooo friendly. I love that about people. This girl! Abbie! She drove all the way from Steamboat Springs. If you are not from the Denver area, that’s far. I’ve never even been there before. I’m too lazy to drive.

These sweet littles were the highlight of my morning. Seeing how much they loved creating made me SO excited to have a little girl.

I can’t thank the gals at Anthropologie enough for letting me come and hang out with them! They were total rock stars. Also, I get nervous standing next to them because they’re all so fashionable. I’ll just stick to my belly band. ;)

Here we go! Here we go! The weekend is hee-ya! I’m just so happy. I’m always happy, but I’m always REALLY happy when Friday shows up. It’s always nice because a LOT of eating happens around here. I’m talkin’ breakfast food for days. It’s just such a magical time.

I’m getting really nervous/anxious/stressed/excited about tomorrow’s Anthropologie event! Will you be there? I sure hope so. I will need ya to come and calm my nerves! Woo! It’s Friday! April 26th!!! I’ve been waiting weeks for today because today is the day that we find out if B-dub (Baby Ward’s nickname) is he or a she! I’d love a he. I’d love a she! I’m nervous! Yikes! So I’m going to make this quick because I just can’t focus on anything else right now. :)
